Jenna & Dillon Alternate Edits

As the second photographer at the wedding, there were two things that I really tried to keep in mind. One was that I wanted to grab images of the things that Nathaniel might not have a chance to -- and trust me, that's harder than it sounds. The guy flies around, constantly shooting, and barely takes a break. There's not much he misses. As a result, I knew we'd also have images of the same things from time to time. So, my second goal was to come up with some fun and different looks for when we were shooting the same subject. These are some of the images that fell into those two categories.

Jenna and Dillon's family and friends really came together to make their wedding special. One of the big highlights of the event was the wedding party dancing down the aisle. In addition, while some of the food for the wedding was served by caterers, almost all of the the prep work was done by their parents, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. As the bride and groom got ready for the ceremony, their family was buzzing around lighting candles, arranging flowers, and cooking up a storm.

Two of the aunts had done much of the of prep work and waited until everyone was served before relaxing with the rest of the party.

During the ceremony and reception, there were a few moments that really caught my eye. I wanted to treat the color in the photos a bit to highlight the subjects. Below are a few samples of alternate edits to images that I cross processed and saturated a little differently for added effect.
